multimedia art
I like to mix different medias to make art. I use all types of items, lying around the house for my art, as well as the tools I use to distribute my art. Creativity is boundless…my imagination is abound.
acrylic paints on canvas
Acrylics are my go to media when I feel the need to express. My art room is ready to receive my emotions and feelings. Expression is in the form of the beholder, and the beauty comes from whomever wishes to open up their minds and embrace what I felt for that one moment in time.
nature photography
Green foliage on the outside are like the red blood cells on my insides; it is the main principal means of delivering oxygen (O2) to the body tissues— The lush green moss on old burly trees, the smell of the dozens of varieties of ferns, the invasion of ivy is what silences the sounds of the surrounding city. All of this green photosynthesis oxygen producing miracles, worthy of a picture or two…especially in the fall.
people of the world photography
To others it may just be an unknown face. A beautiful woman with a scarf. A pretty girl with a dimple. A smart looking boy with books. Each person has a story. A story so profound and inspiring…some so very hungry and so very thirsty, not for fame, money, or power…but for education, food, and water. Literally.
I listen…to what my fingertips tell me. I close my eyes and I paint. I have no formal schooling as an artist, I don’t follow any specific styles of art…I do what feels good to me, I listen to my heart.
Sometimes the end result is the Name of Allah, sometimes it’s an abstract painting. Each stroke talks to the next…they have conversations with each other. Each one has a story to tell, a feeling to share, a voice to speak out, a tear to shed. I never know what the final outcome will be.
Stop and listen. When you look at my paintings, see what resonates within you. Say a prayer for all the people who have suffered and who continue to suffer on this earth. Ameen.
